Polycarbonate - PC - has a wide range of applications.

RIAS supplies Makrofol DE 6-2 in opal for lamp shades. Polycarbonate is ideal, as it is heat-resistant, and the shades can be shaped using cold bending.

Within industry, PC is used as machine shielding, among other things, due to its high impact resistance.
