CSR Strategy
RIAS’ Executive Board has not adopted any specific policies concerning social responsibility, however in line with the development in the society and the Company’s situation, RIAS has taken a stand on the influence on the surroundings and thereby the Company’s social responsibility.
During the last years RIAS has formed an attitude and a culture concerning the social responsibility based on influences from outside, including a dialogue between the management group and the employees and this is reflected in the way that the Company acts both internally and towards the outside world, whether it is about customers, suppliers, advisors, shareholders or the surrounding as such.
CSR is an integrated component of the overall business strategy of RIAS A/S. We focus strongly on long-term solutions that are sustainable in a financial, social and environmental context and ensure that CSR is a fully integrated part of the management foundation.
Our CSR efforts form an important component in fulfilling our vision of being perceived as the most attractive high quality plastics distributor in the Nordic Region, and to ensure profitable growth and facilitating a dynamic and innovative approach to business development.
We consider our social responsibility to be closely linked to a healthy business development and aim at being at the forefront regarding sustainability in our products, services and solutions, internally and in relation to our external stakeholders. In this way, we encourage sustainable and responsible behaviour in all areas, in which we can make a difference.
We take our role as a good corporate citizen seriously and contribute proactively to create confidence and welfare in the Nordic societies through our engagement and dialogue with public authorities, organisations in the business sector and in civil society, and research institutions.
Overall, these efforts provide us with a robust platform from where to meet future challenges and plastic related needs in a sustainable way.
